His room? Was it really his room? His paralyzed mind could rationalize only with effort that it was neither his own bedroom, nor the damp, cold basement room. He didn’t know where he was, but slowly he remembered what happened.
I needed a preview picture for my next chapter and also to warm up for my next commission.
Forgive me Kenji I know I treated you bad
Kenji is mine
Kenji did grow up with a sword in his hand. Fighter by body and soul he did went through a hard school since the age of 4 and lived a life as assassin after he finished his education. He killed the first time at the age of eight, his fellow students during the final exam, and murdered his master at the age of 14.
His way did lead him as beggar and homeless on lonely pathes and by that almost into his own death.
But his path as warrior didn't end even when he laid dying in fewer and deadly injured. As vampire he wandered through many countries and found his way to the vampire Clan Torenjha. He settled there and made his way up from a plain soldier to a respected commander. He was known for his discipline and self-control and learned to choke back emotions to be able to deal with violence, torture and cruelty.
However the only friend he found strangely was amongst his enemies. On the streets a cold warrior he was a loyal and very warmly caring friend to Sasa, the only real friend he ever had.
*snicker* Some characters are more wonderful that way.
Sasa and Kenji as best friends are too close to mind each other's flaws and edges, just Marius who has an uneasy past with Kenji is the only one Kenji does tame his tongue with. Not only due to their past, but also because Kenji respects Marius as his leader and accepts his own lower rank.
