<sub>From the beginning Marius' purpose to live was to serve as a slave, to serve his younger brother one sadist scum of vampire, who not only drank from Marius blood as it was tradition in this Clan, he also tortured Marius and “test” him how much he could stand before he would break. But Marius didn’t break, he stood up stubborn even after the most cruel tortures.

Marius got cold and cruel himself and deserted to the enemy Clan to find a new chance to live. By his merciless fighting skills and the reputation to be one of the best warriors ever he got accepted, but never understood. They claimed him insane due to his lack emotionless and cruelty. So he just kept silent and empty inside.

As the Clans broke apart and the eternal war ended he escaped to the only one who had a smile for him. Sasa, like himself once a Hunter, offered him a hand and allowed him to get a bit closer. Sasa taught him trust and hope, and he taught him to smile again. He found happiness in him and finally even allowed himself to love, the very first time in his life.</sub>
